Discourse features, ellipsis, back channel, hedging, discourse markers.
They could have used ellipsis they could they could go straight to the point.
They used back channel to acknowledge that they were listening to the speaker, in this case, the orange listening to the durian speaking.
They used hedging probably to prolong the oranges and durian's conversation as the durian was trying to show off how tough he was.
They also used discourse markers to show the different things that they were talking about. In this case, they use the discourse marker 'another time'.
