you dance like a epileptic- It shows that Elvis Presley wasn't able to dance very well.
I'm a smooth criminal- It refers to MJ being really smooth
I'm the king of pop - showing that MJ was really good at music
You're the king of jelly rolls - It shows that Elvis presley was fat
I will light your hair like a pepsi commercial - It shows that MJ had very frizzy hair

EL song thingy

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards, one blow from caving in?
Do you ever feel already buried deep?
Six feet under screams, but no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
'Cause there's a spark in you?
You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July

Cause baby, you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh
As you shoot across the sky
Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh
You're gonna leave 'em falling down

You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow
Maybe you're reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will blow
And when it's time, you'll know
You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July

Cause baby, you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh
As you shoot across the sky
Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh
You're gonna leave 'em falling down

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
It's always been inside of you, you, you
And now it's time to let it through

Cause baby, you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh
As you shoot across the sky
Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh
You're gonna leave 'em falling down

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon

1. 'like a plastic bag'
She meant that you are waiting for oppurtunities.
2. 'feel so paper thin’,’Like a house of cards’
What she meant is that You are frail.

3. ‘Six feet under screams’
It means that you are screaming hard for help but no one is there to help you

4. ‘Cause baby you’re a firework’
It refers to the fact that you are great and you outshine your enemies just like a firework.
I feel like a counsellor._.
5. ‘As you shoot across the sky’
It is a continuation from the ‘Cause baby you’re a firework’. This sentence is just to add on.

6. ‘Even brighter than the moon 3X’
It shows that you should stand out more from the others and you are more prominent than the moon. :-)

Metaphors and similes in a song

As sly as a fox, as strong as an ox              (strong and sly)
As fast as a hare, as brave as a bear         (fast and brave)
As free as a bird, as neat as a word            (free and neat)
As quiet as a mouse, as big as a house    (quiet and big)
All I wanna be, all I wanna be, oh
All I wanna be is everything
As mean as a wolf, as sharp as a tooth      (mean and sharp)
As deep as a bite, as dark as the night
As sweet as a song, as right as a wrong
As long as a road, as ugly as a toad
As pretty as a picture hanging from a fixture
Strong like a family, strong as I wanna be
Bright as day, as light as play
As hard as nails, as grand as a whale
All I wanna be oh, all I wanna be, oh
All I wanna be is everything
Everything at once
Everything at once, oh
Everything at once
As warm as the sun, as silly as fun
As cool as a tree, as scary as the sea
As hot as fire, cold as ice
Sweet as sugar and everything nice
As old as time, as straight as a line
As royal as a queen, as buzzed as a bee
Stealth as a tiger, smooth as a glider
Pure as a melody, pure as I wanna be
All I wanna be oh, all I wanna be, oh
All I wanna be is everything
Everything at once

Metaphors and Similes in a Song_ Claire and Seraphina

Skyscraper ~

1) Identifying:
Personification:
  • Skies are crying
Similes:
  • Like I'm made of glass
  • Like I'm made of paper
  • I will be rising from the ground like a skyscraper

2) Explanation:
- "Skies are crying" is a personification that brings life to the skies because of the word "crying". She is very depressed and sad, and the skies portray her feelings by raining.
- "Like I'm made of glass" and "Like I'm made of paper" shows that she just went through a heartbreak and is very vulnerable and fragile, just like glass and paper, which are easily broken. The listeners know that she is broken until she's made up of glass and paper.
- "I will be rising from the ground like a skyscraper" shows that she will get back on her feet and be strong again.

As sly as a fox(cunning and experienced and can get what they want, often in an underhand way)
As strong as an ox (very strong)
As fast as a hare ( Very Fast)
as brave as a bear ( Very Brave )
As free as a bird ( Very free)
As quiet as a mouse ( Very Quiet)

  Lenka Kripac's Everything At Once

As warm as the sun, as silly as fun
As cool as a tree, as scary as the sea
As hot as fire, cold as ice
Sweet as sugar and everything nice
As old as time, as straight as a line
As royal as a queen, as buzzed as a bee
As stealth as a tiger, smooth as a glider
Pure as a melody, pure as I wanna be

This shows that Lenka Kripac personifies herself as different types of things and person. Most probably she is describing her personalities. For example, as silly as fun is used to describe that she is a very funny person

Similes and metophors (Everything at once)

As sly as a fox, as strong as an ox
As fast as a hare, as brave as a bear
As free as a bird, as neat as a word
As quiet as a mouse, as big as a house

And also, " strong like a family, strong as i wanna be"

The meaning of this is to describe a thing that she is thinking of, which we don't know. The effect of this leads the audience to think of what she is thinking of, this also creates a sense of mystery behind the song. Like for example, 'As sly as a fox' implies that what she is thinking of is very sly, like how a fox behaves.
