c) The ad shows the person being able to sleep immediately after sitting down (He did not even need to lie down) and to emphasise that fact, they show the promoters drinking a lot of coffee and even eating coffee powder to stay awake. This shows the superior ability of the Sealy mattress and also appeals to the audiences sense of humour thus allowing them to remember the commercial.
